What SP means for Bangor Raceway
SP stands for starting price. The site's general rules define it as the odds at the start of a race, worked out by averaging what the competition's organisers offer before the off (section 3, point 17). The bet wins if your horse comes home first, and the return equals the stake times that price (section 4.1), so no amount is set until the field is away.
